How to care for your jewelry

Your jems will stay nice if you take the time to store and clean them properly.

I use silver plated beads which may, with time, tarnish and dull the beauty of your jems.  A simple dip in a good jewelry polish will return the shine.  A jar of polish is about $5.00 and you can find it at most stores.   I also use semi-precious gemstones, lampwork beads and a variety of acrylic and glass.  Most of these beads clean beautifully in the polish.  Please note that pearls and some other delicate stones should be cleaned with mild cleaner or just water and a polishing cloth. Follow the directions on your polish container.

Store in the plastic bag it comes in, or another sealed package to prevent tarnishing or dullness.

The elastic cord used in watch bands and bracelets, will with continuous wear, stretch some.  Avoid unnecessary pulling and stretching other than putting it on.  (I've found that children love to pull on them). If this occurs on any item I've made for you, please contact me.

It means a lot to me that you are satisfied with your jems.  Let me know if I can help you with any questions or concerns.
